Meet the Team

  • G. Stephen Knowlton - President

    Dr. G. Stephen Knowlton has been deeply involved in youth hockey for over 21 years, coaching his sons from mini mites through high school and leading a team to a Bell National Cup championship in Ottawa in 2018.

    A lifelong Grosse Pointe resident, Dr. Knowlton is also a practicing dentist with nearly four decades of experience and advanced credentials from the University of Detroit and Wharton Business School. He and his wife, Elizabeth, are proud parents to two hockey-playing sons, George and Maxwell.

  • Anne Gryzenia - Secretary & Director

    Anne Gryzenia, Publisher of the Grosse Pointe News, brings a deep commitment to youth hockey. With years of experience managing her children’s hockey teams, she has led impactful initiatives for the Blue Devils, including the current locker room fundraiser and team-building efforts.

    Anne works closely with coaches to identify needs and bridge resource gaps, always focused on enhancing the player experience and building a strong sense of community. She and her husband, Paul, proudly support their four hockey-playing children— Will, Jack, Davis, and Liv— while continuing to champion local hockey in Grosse Pointe.

  • Celia Wade - Director

    Celia Wade brings enthusiasm, experience, and a strong community spirit to her role as a Director of the Grosse Pointe South Hockey Hat Trick Club.

    As a mother of three boys—one playing in the NAHL, one on South’s varsity team, and one active in baseball and football—Celia is deeply connected to youth sports and passionate about enhancing the hockey experience for players and families.

  • Shana & Reid Cameron - Directors

    Shana and Reid Cameron are deeply committed to the Grosse Pointe South Hockey Hat Trick Club. The Camerons are active community leaders involved in numerous local organizations, including the Neighborhood Club and Grosse Pointe Farms Foundation.

    As parents to Quinn, a varsity assistant captain, and Harrison, their dedication to hockey and the Grosse Pointe community is both personal and far-reaching.

  • Chris Bernard - Director

    Chris Bernard is a committed community leader and proud supporter of youth sports in Grosse Pointe, especially hockey.

    Chris and his wife, Kerri, have three sons— Ryan, Evan, and Liam —with Evan serving as captain of the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils hockey team. Through his involvement in his children’s sports and dedication to youth athletics, Chris continues to strengthen the hockey program and foster a strong community spirit.

  • Will Gryzenia - Junior Board Member

    Will Gryzenia is an incoming junior at Grosse Pointe South and a dedicated member of the varsity hockey team, having earned a spot on the roster as both a freshman and sophomore. A passionate player since the age of five, Will brings energy, leadership, and heart to everything he does on and off the ice.

    He is committed to helping the team reach its fundraising goals and takes pride in representing the Blue Devils. Will’s love for the game and loyalty to the South program make him a valued teammate and a strong ambassador for the future of the program.
